Week 1: learn the flow
Study the case interview format, common case types, clarifying questions, and basic frameworks. Do two slow practice cases and write down where your structure felt vague.
Week 2: build quant comfort
Practice market sizing, revenue, margin, breakeven, and growth calculations. Do one full case and three short math drills. Focus on setup and units before speed.
Week 3: add pressure
Do two live mocks and two AI or solo reps. Ask partners to interrupt, challenge assumptions, and force you to synthesize after each section.
Week 4: polish interview readiness
Run timed cases, record yourself, and review transcripts. Your final week should focus on concise recommendations, business judgment, and recurring mistakes.
Weekly rhythm
A good prep week includes one full case, two focused drills, one review session, and one synthesis practice block. Candidates improve fastest when they identify the same mistake across multiple reps and drill it directly.
